    Adam4Adam used to be a good place to meet somone. I'm 56. I'm only looking for men my age and say so in my profile. Now, all I get are scam profiles from 20 or 30 year olds "smiling" from 5000 miles away. (Or no distance.) I have had a profile for many many years, but now all I can do is block the user. Reporting has no effect and Adam4Adam doesn't seem to do anything to stop the nonsense. And now I get almost daily notifications trying to sell me upgrades or claiming this is the best time or offering 7 days premium for free. I have paid for the premium before...and NOTHING WAS DIFFERENT. STILL GOT THE SPAM. What a horrible degrading of a once good service. Pass on this service and app.

    The app is simple, easy to use, with lots of features available without having to pay for premium. It’s one of the better dating apps I’ve used as far as design and functionality is concerned. However, after having the app for a few days, I became acutely aware of bots posing as users in attempts to obtain personal information, as well as people using the app in hopes of manipulating users for information as well as money. I only had the app for a week and even in that short amount of time I had 4 such profiles contact me. How to identify a bot: 1. Basic, vague answers 2. Awkward speech that feels off or doesn’t fit 3. Ignoring more complex questions 4. Asking to chat on another platform to keep in touch, especially if it feels like a weird choice. (One bot wanted me to exchange emails with them) How to identify a scammer: 1. They tend to target people looking for love/LTRs, since people looking for love can be more easily manipulated. 2.     I’m a discreet guy and I don’t want any email notifications telling me I received a message. I tried to unsubscribe but it told me I had to be a pro member. Hahaha these companies are getting demanding payment to stop receiving emails. Immediately deleted my account and uninstalled. Like I said I’m discreet and I don’t messages in my inbox, plus there’s barely anyone near me that uses this app anyways, I’m still laughing because this app really thinks their popular enough to demand payment for a basic feature that’s free. Plus it’s your email we should be able to unsubscribe. You do realize people can block your email domain right? What a smart way to ensure customers leave however designed that feature kudos to you cause now I’m definitely not going to pay for anything from this app. I’ll just stick to the actual relevant apps that people actually use.     Many (most?) accounts on here are fake with pics of models. Are usually far away with explanations that they are in military serving overseas (think many are actually in Africa running scams). All looking for love and ltr. They immediately try to get your name and very quickly move conversation offline where they continue con which includes falling in love quickly and eventually getting things like funds, iTunes cards or more info on you. I suspect multiple fake accounts are run by same people. I understand may be difficult to prevent but what frustrates me is that after I send multiple feedbacks nothing is ever done. I was told once that a member was suspended and I should block account but I did not block and so I could see his account remained active. I shrugged off at first but was disappointed to learn there are many gullible / lonely guys who do fall for these scams. A4A is more interested in artificially high number of accounts than a site for *real* men to *safely*...
