The app contains the digital version of the Cookbook – Measuring Strategies for tactile Coordinate Metrology and includes some of the most common measuring tasks (as evaluated in a study by the Global Application Knowledge Group). These default “recipes” are a good place to start when there is no additional information provided for measurement. They are general suggestions. When more is known about the process and the function of the part, the recipes can be modified to better fit the application. In addition, the app offers many functions for easy navigation, a search function and bookmarks. A powerful annotation feature is also included for tablets (in order to protect your privacy, the notes are stored locally and it is therefore possible that the annotations will be reset during an app update).
