Audio books from LibriVox are free thanks to the dedicated work of hundreds of volunteers who record, edit and distribute the books. New releases are prepared daily, and the entire catalog spans the breadth of world literature, including novels, history, biography, short stories, poetry and more in both fiction and non-fiction. The LibriVox AudioBook app makes it easy to search the LibriVox catalog of free audio books. You can browse by title, author or genre, look at new recordings, or search by key word. Because the books are free, you can listen to as much or as little of a book as you like with no cost. The app remembers your position, so you can return to a book later, and includes unlimited bookmarks and a sleep timer for your convenience.

    This is a very nice app for free audio books. The range of books are phenomenal and the clarity fantastic. The search is awesome. I found a number of titles using the search which I did not know exists. I would highly recommend this for all who are interested in going through old classic literature

    This is perhaps the best app in terms of knowledge sharing. I've been able to spend many hours during work commute on this app listening to high quality audio books. I understand that all the recordings are by unpaid volunteers. I really appreciate this effort. Beautiful concept.

    Great collection of books of so many categories and other audios in a very quality audible voices and all just free of cost. Great voluntary work, to be appreciated by any means.
