Description
Staff supporting a point of dispensing (POD) that are responsible for dispensing countermeasures can use the POD Assist app to scan barcodes of individuals who have registered to receive countermeasures. After scanning the registration barcode, POD Assist will display what countermeasure the individual should receive based on the information they provided when they registered. POD Assist also allows POD staff to scan the barcode of the countermeasure being dispensed to rapidly collect the lot number. Once this information has been collected, the data is sent to POD Assist and the POD staff can continue the process of scanning barcodes and dispensing countermeasures for individuals at a POD.
In order to use POD Assist, POD staff must be set up as a user in the POD Assist service with the appropriate permissions. POD Assist must also be configured with an active event and the appropriate data collection fields
