Pocket Composer is an assistant for music students, professional composers, and everyone who study music theory.
It has a complete dictionary with all existing chords and scales in western music for piano and stringed instruments
This now brings full support for every stringed instrument with a fretboard.
Any tuning can be applied to an instrument 3 to 10 strings
Search for stringed chords from easy to hardest to play with a reference bar
that will help you notice what fingering position are easier to play
This is a free app that contains also a compact chord progression builder
to help you create progressions and songs in every places where you cannot take the instrument.
Now we have added a new harmony tool to help apply dominant and subdominant harmony function over all existing chords
It has a chord wheel that extends circle of fifths functionality and allows you harmonizing all scales and even apply harmony functions such as secondary dominant, secondary leading tones, secondary subdominant, etc... so you can compose songs and learn to play chords and scales.

You can easily find out the name of an scale and the symbol of a chord by playing the instrument and even learn many other different chord symbols.

    This app is amazing. Great job by devs. I had to apprechiate it by buying lifetime premium, because this app contains everything important from music theory - scales, modes, circle, notes, chords... It is just perfect.
