Description
Mushroom Identification made easy! Quick and easy to use, you simply select the characteristics of the fungi you would like to identify and the in-app algorithms work out the most likely matching mushrooms. You can also view the 'Top 20' of the month which lists all the common Fungi you can find in the month you are in. If you are a keen mushroom forager / hunter then there's lots of useful info, including the edibility of all mushrooms listed and a list of good edible mushrooms that grow in your country. The app comes pre-loaded with over 400 common Fungi and over 1000 images. When you open the app your position is used to load a relevant dataset to show just the mushrooms that occur in your country or region. Graphs and country ranking are also shown for each individual fungi to help you see how common it is and when in the year it is most common.

    I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m so glad I downloaded this, I can’t stop looking at it. There is so much information from graphs to show you when you’re most likely to spot them to advice on foraging to how best to cook them. Admittedly some of the info is cut/pasted out of Wikipedia but it saves you the effort of having to do a separate search. Every description also includes a link to a page on the web with loads more photos and information. It’s so user friendly and so informative you’d be a fool not to get it for those walks in the woods. Can’t wait to use it when I’m out and about. Thank you for such a fabulous app, to date I can’t fault it ?

    This app is enjoyable to use with lots of information and beautiful graphics to make it easy to understand and identify. In addition it has useful categories to show you edible mushrooms or foraging tips. One thing i would improve is that i have found fungi that it does not seem to have. But overall an enjoyable app!

    I downloaded for the identification aspect which is okay, but it is so informative!!! Includes charts on how popular each mushroom is in month based on your location and lots of info including where to find it. Honestly so satisfying to have a central place to access loads of information. 10/10

    This app is fantastic! I feel so sure of the process for identification and love looking at all the information. I would say that they would allow to go back in steps rather than go back to the beginning in the identification process. Other than that is it perfect.
