Start your career as a trainee chef. You will be in for humble beginnings but the dream to make it big will help you carry on. Move up the ladder from trainee to Commis, Chef de Partie, Sous chef and finally to Chef de Cuisine one step at a time. To make a great career out of it, however, you will need to please your customers and generate enough cash to move on to the next stage and buy sophisticated restaurant equipment.
