Description
The App calculates density (weight and cubic size) of shipped items. Freight carriers use this along with other factors to decide on the Freight Class and ultimately the cost to ship. Multiple shipment items can be entered and measurements can either be in Imperial or Metric. Calculated results can be sent by email or text as needed. While density is the primary key in determining freight class, carriers can make adjustments to the class based on handling, liability, and or stowability.
